Pink Paper Plane Challenge™
On March 8 1910, Raymonde de Laroche earned the world’s first female pilot licence.
March 8 is Pink Paper Plane Day.
Nothing is quite as simple and inexpensive as building a Pink Paper Plane. Yet nothing is as symbolic and powerful as building a Pink Paper Plane.
The Challenge is opened to anyone regardless of gender. It is a great way to start a conversation, foster a culture shift, raise awareness, and celebrate the March 8 anniversary of the world’s first female pilot licence. Take the Pink Paper Plane Challenge™ and help set Guinness World Records.
Help set a world record for Most Photos of People With Pink Paper Planes
Participating is easy. Download the WOAW Pink Paper Plane template. On March 8 locally, build a WOAW Pink Paper Plane, take a photo of yourself or someone else with the WOAW Pink Paper Plane, then upload in our website (individual registration in our website is required to upload).
Help set a world record for Most Paper Plane Aviation Mosaic within One Day (multiple venues)
In this challenge, each pink and white mosaic must be aviation-related (aircraft, buildings, objects, personalities, etc.) and occupy an area of at least 100 square feet (9.3 square meters) filled with pink and white paper planes (min. 3 paper planes per square foot). At least, 70% of the area should be pink.
