Women airport training tour
TAS-Karain Square Tour within the Scope of the Activities of the “Women of Aviation Worldwide Week”
Within the scope of the activities of the “Women of Aviation Worldwide Week,” female students, who were interested in sports aviation and had passion for aviation, were given a tour in Karain Aviation Trainin Center and introduced the planes that were being hosted in the square.
Female students in Antalya International University, who wanted to learn about sports aviation, were informed about paragliding, parachuting and hang-glider within the scope of the aviation courses provided by the Turkish Aeronautical Association, and their questions were answered. They were briefed on the area of use of Antanov Plane that was out of use in Karain Square and Wilga Plane that was used in glider flights, and they found an opportunity to closely examine them. Gyrocopter Pilot H. Emre KOÇ provided some information about the take-off, flight and landing procedures and conducted a stunt show with a Gyrocopter.
