Empowering More Women to Fly!
On Sunday, March 13th 2016, Brampton Flight Centre joined many other aviation organizations around the world and participated in the Women Of Aviation Worldwide Week – by organizing the Empowering More Women to Fly! event.
With approximately 200 people in attendance and 152 girls & women that took flight, it was a memorable event for our Guests, Volunteers and Staff.
We also offered free simulator rides and ground school information, and everyone had an amazing time. We saw lots of happy faces and were extremely impressed that first Air Canada female pilot, Captain Judy Cameron was in attendance. Her life story is an inspiration to lots of aspiring female pilots.
On behalf of the Brampton Fling Centre, I would like to thank everyone for participating to the Empowering More Women to Fly! event and we already look forward to next year! :).
